POLICE have shared details of arrests and vehicle seizures they have made in the Hindley area over recent days.
On Thursday, February, 29, Hindley Neighbourhood Beat Officers (NBOs) assisted colleagues from the Wigan Neighbourhood Team with arrest attempts in Borsdane.
The wanted male was not found in the first address visited but a significant quantity of wraps of white and brown powder were located, which led to people being arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs.
Police said the wanted man was located at the next address leading to another arrest on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs. The suspects have been bailed with conditions while investigations continue.
Meanwhile on Friday, March 1, while conducting a joint visit with Wigan Council, Community Resilience Officers at an address of concern in Borsdane, officers arrested a man alleged to be in breach of his court bail conditions and he was put before the next available court.
On Saturday, March 2, as officers patrolled hotspot areas linked to drug taking and dealing, a Hindley NBO came across a suspected drug deal in Hindley Green. One man on foot made off from the officer but two men in a vehicle were detained, and they and and the vehicle were searched. While no drugs were located, police say the vehicle was found to be uninsured and was seized.

On Tuesday, March 5, Hindley NBOs on Market Street, Hindley, observed a vehicle being driven recklessly.
The vehicle was stopped and police say it was found to be uninsured and was seized.
