A MAN has been charged following a pursuit in which police cars were rammed and a van overturned.
The van tipped over on Holden Road, Leigh, following the chase which started in Ince.
At 7.40am on Saturday morning, April 20, police were called by a member of the public to reports of a man driving a van dangerously in Ince and officers began a pursuit of the vehicle.
The chase culminated in the van overturning on Holden Road, Leigh.
During the dramatic pursuit, the van collided with and damaged numerous vehicles. It was then stopped and rammed police vehicles, before making off.

Two police officers suffered injuries and had medical treatment at the scene.
Police said no members of the public were injured.
A man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of dangerous driving, of driving without a licence, and of driving while under the influence of drugs and alcohol.
Police said on Saturday that inquiries were ongoing to identify a second man who they believe was in the van.
Nathan Price, 32, of Keswick Place, Ince, has since been charged with three counts of attempted grievous bodily harm, dangerous driving, driving while disqualified, and driving without insurance in connection with the incident.
He has been remanded into custody to appear at Manchester and Salford Magistrates' Court tomorrow (Monday, April 22).
