AN exciting new food and drink festival showcasing the best traders that Leigh has to offer is coming to the town on Saturday, May 4.
A new venture for 2024, 'Leigh Feast' will feature a range of local food and drink businesses, as well as entertainment and family friendly activities.
The event will take place on the first Saturday of the month, from May to November, and the series of events kicks off on the early bank holiday weekend in May.
Vendors that have agreed to take part include That Secret Ingredient bakery, Pizza Milan, and the Greek Malaka Brothers.
Live music from Zoe Unsworth, Sean Calderbank, and Carla Richee will also entertain guests throughout the evening

James Winterbottom, director of strategy and innovation at Wigan Council, said: “Following on from the success of Frost Fest, which took place at Christmas, we’re really excited to launch the Leigh Feast.
“What a great way to spend your Saturday afternoon and get a taste of all that Leigh has to offer, at what is a really exciting time for the town.”
Leigh Feast is funded by the UK Government’s UK Shared Prosperity Fund, and has been made possible thanks to Greater Manchester Combined Authority securing funding to deliver UKSPF projects, which forms part of the Government’s wider Levelling Up agenda.
The first Leigh Feast will take place on Leigh Civic Square on Saturday, May 4,
