THE Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for Leigh and much of the UK.
The weather warning is in place for Wales and the majority of England from 3pm today (Monday, July 15) until 9am tomorrow (Tuesday, July 16).
The warning predicts that there will be heavy rain with risks of flooding.
The warning states that there could be the chance of power cuts and a loss of services at homes and businesses, while roads and public transport could also be affected.

In Leigh, the Met Office website predicts that there is a 70 percent chance of rain from 3pm today, rising to a 90 percent chance at 4pm and a 95 percent chance from 6pm and throughout much of the night.
The downpour is predicted to continue throughout the early hours and much of tomorrow morning, with the weather warning currently in place until 9am tomorrow.
Despite the rain, temperatures are still estimated to hit a high of 20 degrees in Leigh, while pollen and UV levels are also reported to be high
