A MISSING man has been reunited with his "incredibly relieved" mum after she flew out to find him in Majorca.
Earlier this month, Ben Ross, from Golborne, was reported missing with Greater Manchester Police and the Foreign Office after he cut off communications with his family while out in Majorca.
The 26-year-old had flown out to visit a friend in Palma and extended his stay after finding work at an energy company while taking a break from studying as a barrister.
However, a series of events had a spiralling impact on his mental health and his family had not heard from him for more than a week.

After going to the beach for a swim, Ben reported that his bag - containing his phone, passport, wallet, and keys to his apartment - had been stolen.
After reporting this incident with the police, the 26-year-old is said to have had a confrontation with his flatmates as he turned up late at night without a key, and he later struggled to secure funds through his bank and had difficulties sorting out his European work number.
After Ben cut off communications with his family on July 10, and they had not heard from him for more than a week, a Go Fund Me account was set up so that his desperate mum could fly out to Majorca and search for her son.
The fundraising page - which raised more than £3,800 - paid for his mum's flights, hotel, and food costs, and it was confirmed that the family were reunited at the British Consulate in Palma on Monday, July 22.
In a public statement, Ben's mum Felix said: "I’m so incredibly grateful for all the help and support we’ve received. Everyone has been truly incredible.
"We are so relieved to have found him and are now focused on getting him back to full health and home safe and well.”
Ben's family say they are now in the process of arranging an emergency passport so that he can fly home, after he has treatment for dehydration and exhaustion.
All donations that were not used will be delivered to the Andy's Man Club mental health charity, the family said.
