KEELY Hodgkinson has finally been presented with her gold medal at Paris 2024.
The 22-year-old Atherton superstar scorched to first place in the Olympic Games women's 800m last night, but her medal ceremony took place ahead of this evening's athletics session at Stade de France.
Watching the Union Jack rise with the medal around her neck while the National Anthem was being played, Keely's bottom lip was quivering and her eyes welling up.
Every emotion must have been going through her mind after achieving what she had always wanted - Olympic gold!
She left the arena with a beaming smile on her face, being embraced by her rivals who were by her side on the podium to collect their silver and bronze medallists - Ethiopia’s Tsige Duguma and Kenya’s Mary Moraa respectively.
