A MAN has been arrested following a police raid on an address on Railway Road.

On the morning of Friday, September 6, police officers from the Westleigh Neighbourhood Team, supported by Hindley and Challenger officers, executed a warrant at a premises on Railway Road in Leigh town centre.

Greater Manchester Police have confirmed that a man was arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to supply class A drugs and money laundering offences.

Police continue to ask for information regarding crime in the area, and encourage residents to report this by calling 101, on social media, or anonymously through the independent charity Crimestoppers, either via the online portal or 0800 555 111.
