A RETROSPECTIVE planning application for a new club shop has been submitted by Leigh Leopards.
The new club shop, located on the paved area in front of the stadium and next to the John Woods statue and Leigh Youth Hub was completed in June.
On behalf of Leigh Leopards, Struktura Engineering Services submitted a retrospective application in July, which was validated by Wigan Council last month.
A retrospective application seeks formal approval for developments that have already been carried out, although this does not guarantee that permission will be granted.

Designed and built by AB Sundecks to accommodate the expanding retail products of the club, a set of steps and ramp provides access and disability access to the single-storey club shop.
The club shop sells a range of Leopards kits and merchandise and allows the club to generate further income for the club on matchdays.
The club shop wis currently open seven days a week, from 9am to 8pm Monday to Saturday and 10am to 3pm on Sundays.
