POLICE are investigating an attempted burglary and harassment that took place in Atherton this summer. 

Following an investigation, Greater Manchester Police have published images of a man they would like to speak with in connection with the incident.

The attempted burglarly and harrassment took place in June on Water Street, Atherton.

PC Ashall from GMP's Relief’s Response Team said: "Our victim has been subjected to ongoing harassment to the point they no longer feel safe at home, they have even had property stolen from outside their home.

"I would like to hear from anybody who can help identify the photographed male."

Following an investigation by the Westleigh neighbourhood team, Daniel Wilcock, 29, of no fixed abode, has been charged with four counts of shoplifting, and one count of theft.

Wilcock will appear at Wigan & Leigh Magistrates Court on Wednesday, October 23.
