A CIVIL engineering company has acquired a firm as part of its expansion plans.

Lowton-based PAS NW Ltd has acquired Warrington-headquartered Fredex Ltd through a five-year share purchase deal.

The acquisition follows the appointment of Fraser Linaker, former managing director of Duchy Homes North West.

After a period of growth and key appointments with some of the UK's largest housebuilders, PAS NW Ltd owner Paul Sumner has secured Mr Linaker on a five-year contract, solidifying his leadership role within the company.

Mr Sumner said: "Our goal is to achieve £50 million in turnover within the next five years, and this requires outstanding talent.

"Over the past year, Fraser has demonstrated the leadership qualities I was looking for in someone with extensive experience in housebuilding at the highest level.

"Fraser understands the intricacies of our business and knows precisely what our clients need, from the pre-development stage through to project completion.

"His expertise and strategic vision have already enabled us to grow in a sustainable and controlled manner.

"I'm thrilled to have him lead us into this next chapter."

"We have a relentless commitment to making PAS NW the leading civil engineering firm in the North West.

"Our initial successes are promising, but we will not become complacent.

"We are committed to continuous improvement across all facets of the business, particularly in Health & Safety, Quality, and on-site delivery."
