POLICE are appealing for information regarding a reported assault in Leigh.
On Friday, October 11, Greater Manchester Police released images of two men that they wish to speak to concerning a reported assault in July.
At around 3am on Thursday, July 4, police were called by CCTV operators to an ongoing disturbance around Market Street in Leigh town centre.
On arrival, officers discovered a male with significant facial injuries who had been subject to a serious assault at the scene.
Despite an investigation being launched by GMP, no charges have been made so officers have released images of two males that they wish to speak with regarding the incident.
