POLICE are looking for a woman who was last seen heading towards Wigan town centre.

Helen, 43, was last seen at around 9.20am this morning (Saturday, October 26) on Wigan Lane heading towards Wigan town centre.

She is described as a white woman with a slim build, around 5 feet tall and blonde hair tied back.

She was also wearing a distinctive yellow coat when she was last seen.

Greater Manchester Police say they are becoming “increasingly concerned” about her whereabouts and are appealing to the public for information.

A GMP spokesperson said: “Can you help us find Helen who was last seen this morning heading towards Wigan town centre.

“We are becoming concerned and want to make sure she is safe and well.

“Any information, please call us direct on 101 quoting incident 944 of 26/10/2024.”

Anyone with information about Helen’s whereabout should contact police on 101 quoting the log number 26/10/2024.
