A GROUP that works all year round to support the community raised a huge amount of cash on their annual bike ride last month.
Organised by The Rotary Club of Astley, nineteen cyclists took on a 12-mile trip across Chat Moss, from the Lancashire Mining Museum to Barton Aerodrome and back.
Each year, the volunteer group raises money for good causes in the community and this year, the group raised £1,160 for Prostate Cancer UK.

Throughout the year, the Rotary Club organise various fundraisers and community events to bring the community together and raise money for various good causes.
The annual bike ride was held back in September and the club is 'delighted' with the amount raised for the cancer charity. The club expressed gratitude to all supporters and generous donors.
