MULTIPLE burglaries have been reported in Leigh in recent weeks.
On Tuesday, October 29, Greater Manchester Police announced that a burglary was reported in the Pennington area of Leigh, with two electric bikes reported to have been stolen from a property/
The bikes in question are a green and orange KTM Macina Prowler Prestige and a black and red KTM Macina Kapaho 7973.
In a separate incident, GMP also announced that a burglary has been reported around Quayside in Leigh, in the early hours of Saturday, October 19.
The offenders are reported to have forced the front door to gain entry into the property.
Police are asking any witnesses to come forward with any information to assist with their enquiries. The Force can be contacted by calling 101 and quoting the reference number 0428-22102024 for the Pennington burglary and the reference number 655-19102024 for the Quayside incident.
Officers have also encouraged residents to check their windows and doors are locked and secure as the darker nights are approaching and report any suspicious activity online or via 101.
