ASTLEY and Tyldesley clinched overall victory in the Manchester Cycle Speedway League Division One when they finished second in round five at Stockport.
Any one of three riders can win the senior grand prix series with one round remaining at Bury on July 9.
A&T's Dariusz Pilas leads on 57 points, followed by team-mate Remi Burchardt on 56 and Terry Norman on 53.
Result: Stockport 2006 28, Astley & Tyldesley 12, Bury 0.
Stockport extended their lead in the Division Two (junior) series, with a convincing win, while Bury took second place on the night.
A&T's Adam Watson scored 12 points in the U10 category, which was sufficient to see him win the U10 grand prix series as he reached a total of 70 points which cannot be matched.
