A WAR hero’s daughter is appealing for the return of her late father’s medals.
They were stolen by heartless raiders who also grabbed a jewellery haul from the Atherton home of Eileen Caldwell.
Pity the callous and selfish good for nothings who have no thought for their victim’s feelings don’t realise the heartache they leave behind.
The WW2 medals do not have any great monetary value but they have great sentimental worth as some of the few mementos left by her father, Mr James Turner.
The medals were still in the original cardboard boxes in which they were posted. They also contained the original documentation.
If anyone anywhere is offered these medals could they please let the police know.
It would be wonderful if someone could help Eileen to get them back.
Come on thieves, have a heart
