GOD forbid - a month of football fanaticism ahead.

I can’t stand the game at the best of times, so I am dreading the saturation coverage that will be wrecking normal schedules.

I just hope the good weather sticks so that I can get out from under and that it doesn’t interfere with Wimbledon.

Now that everyone has freeview it might be a good idea to have a channel dedicated to full coverage of the World Cup and any other long running sport for that matter.

Believe it or not I do love sport, but team games are not my favourite. There’s too many overpaid spoiled brats in soccer for my liking - and I can’t stand all the tribal support and drum beating that goes on.

I wouldn't watch a game if it was in my garden.

I prefer to see individuals strive on their own merits, not depend on someone else for glory.
