ASTLEY and Tyldesley Cycle Speedway Club rounded off the 2010 season with a junior challenge match at Bury on Sunday.
A&T fielded a young team who gave it their all in a competitive match.
Bury fielded two much older juniors and a veteran rider and that trio raced unbeaten, as Bury ran out 89-61 winners, a reversal of the scores in the corresponding match at Gin Pit last month.
Best for A&T was Reece Pollitt, who was the visitors' only race winner, and he recovered well after taking a fall last time out.
Stefan Whitelegg and Sacha Street were always in the thick of the action and both scored well.
