GENESIS midfielder Andy Heald has been granted permission to play part-time for Norfolk based side Wroxham.
Spending large amounts of time on business in the area, Genesis have given the 30-year-old permission to play for the Ridgeons League Premier Division side to maintain his match fitness.
Heald said: “My passion remains with Leigh and that will always be the case.
“I feel an immense pride whenever I represent my hometown club and I am looking forward hugely to working with new manager Alan Kershaw.”
Heald will remain a Genesis player and continue his role as player/coach alongside experienced defender Steve Brockley, who was handed the player/coach role after the appointment of Kershaw as first team manager.
