LEIGH Genesis are one match away from having relegation confirmed.
If they do not defeat Durham City at Crilly Park on Saturday, kick off 3pm, they will drop out of Evo-Stik First Division North.
Regardless of their own result, if Harrogate Railway Athletic gain just one point from any of their remaining seven fixtures - including their visit to Salford City on Saturday - Genesis will need to win all their remaining matches by a large margin and bank on Prescot Cables and Radcliffe Borough losing all their remaining games in order to survive.
Basically, they need a miracle.
With six games of the season remaining for Genesis and two to go down, Genesis are bottom with 19 points - three behind Ossett Albion, 18 behind Prescot and Radcliffe, and 17 adrift of Harrogate.
Four wins and seven draws from 38 games so far appear to leave Genesis doomed.
They had no game in midweek but drew 3-3 at home to fellow strugglers Ossett on Saturday - a result that helped neither side.
