LEIGH Genesis’ relegation from the Evo-Stik League First Division North was confirmed with a comprehensive home defeat to Durham City at Crilly Park.
The visitors took the lead through David Dowson on 11 minutes and doubled their advantage through Amar Purewal on the stroke of half time.
Purewal grabbed his second on 76 minutes before completing his hat-trick on 87 minutes past debutant Leigh goalkeeper Andy Farrimond.
Leigh travel to Bamber Bridge on Saturday, kick off 3pm.
