FOUR years-old Jack Mills pedalled off on a sponsored bike ride that raised £118 towards Lowton St Mary's flower festival.
Acompanied by his Uncle John young Jack rode his two wheeler from Kings Avenue, Lowton along the pavement to Dover Lock at Abram. From there he rode along the canal towpath all the way to the Top Lock at New Springs.
After spending the night on grandparents Bob and Margaret Mills' narrowboat Jack, who attends St Mary's Church and nursery, retraced his tyremarks and headed home to Lowton.
