Is your local pub up for new tenancy?

The sales come as pubs across the UK are facing higher prices of alcohol and food costs as well as keeping up with the rise in energy bills.

According to The Mirror, in a previous interview with Ian Payne, Stonegate chairman said: "We know what we’re going to pay in February and March, but we still don’t know what we’re going to pay beyond that."

Although Stonegate is not the only pub chain selling up some of its portfolios, with Wetherspoons owner Tim Martin previously sharing he would sell 35 pubs across the UK, with 11 already sold.

He said that he made the choice due to the rising cost of food and energy, as well as the lack of staff.
