OCCUPATIONAL therapists are hoping to show off their good work to Leigh MP Andy Burnham.
The Shadow Health Secretary will visit Leigh Health Centre at Leigh Infirmary tomorrow when he will meet occupational therapy teams who deliver seven-day integrated health and care services for children and adults in the area.
Julia Skelton, director of Professional Operations at the College of Occupational Therapists, said occupational therapists play an important role in reducing pressure on local hospital services, describing them as “game changers”.
