WELL done Wigan planning.
After years of rejecting plans in and around the Higher Green Lane area of Astley Green due to them being ‘not within the aesthetics of the village’ they grant, to coin a phrase, a huge carbuncle on the face of a well-loved uncle, Astley Point.
I hope you all enjoy your free champagne and canapes at the grand opening.
I think you should hang your heads in shame.
